Junior sailing sessions are almost like day camps. They run five days a week from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and include one hour for lunch (bring your own, or dine at the Brooklyn Marina canteen).  Eight weekly sessions will start July 3rd, and conclude August 21st.

“It’s a great learning experience, it’s a lot of fun, you get out on the water every day,” says Sean Mullin, 2014 sailing instructor. “It’s a unique sport, not a lot of people sail.”

Sailing classes follow Sail Canada CANsail standards, and students could progress to become a sailing instructor if they continue to move up in their classes.  Click here to view Sail Canada’s CANSail Training Module Introduction.

Participants are required to have a Transport Canada approved life jacket or PFD. They also need to be able to swim and water shoes are recommended.

A one week session are $130 for Queens Recreational Boating Association members and $150 non-members.  Sign up for one week, or two, or many more.
